Thought Process: “Succeeding in business means doing the right things consistently.”
To develop your “Client Attraction Magnet”, you need to know three things. Each one is as important as the others to make your magnet strong.
1. Message: what you say about your salon to make you the salon of choice for your most likely clients.
2. Market: made up of your most likely clients.
3. Media: the way you get your message out to your Market (word-of-mouth, on the web, postcards, etc)
This week, let’s get to work on your Message. Start by taking stock in what services and products you provide your clients.
List all of your services:
List all of your products, if you sell any:
Now one by one, think about the values and benefits your service or product provides to your client – why does someone want that?
To help you think past the obvious, let me ask you, what would happen if they didn’t get that service or product? What if they went somewhere else – what would they lose?
Take each benefit, and flip it around. If you put an end to frizzy hair, the problem would be, having frizzy hair. If the benefit is that you get your clients ready for their special occasions, the problem would be stressing out about getting ready and not looking your best.
What problems do you solve for your clients?
Did any new areas of expertise come to mind that would be attractive to your clients? Which problems do you enjoy solving most?
What is your "Hot Undeniable Benefit" only you can provide your ideal clients?
