So many people ask me how I started doing medical tattoos… why… if I miss being a bedside hospital nurse, etc.

The ‘why’ for me was always about healing and restoration. As an aesthetician helping women feel beautiful in their skin, a makeup application for someone undergoing treatment for chemotherapy and radiation, or caring for someone at their most sick until they are well enough to return home. These were always my most rewarding experiences.

The opportunity to be a part of restoring what was previously thought to be lost… is priceless to me.

I became a nurse because I wanted to help people, to make a difference in someone’s life, and now finally after 11 years as a registered nurse, I am fully able to do that without the constraints of corporate healthcare… and I have never been more fulfilled than I am right now.
