Help Save Our Planet, One Suite at a Time!

Suite Elite Member holding a globe in their suite!

Happy Earth Day! Let’s work together to make a positive impact on the planet, one salon suite at a time. Did you know that the beauty industry is notorious for waste? By becoming eco-friendly, not only can we help the planet, but you can also attract more clients who prioritize sustainability.

Here are some easy tips to make your salon suite more eco-friendly:

  1. Start by using sustainable products: Use eco-friendly products that have less harsh chemicals and come in sustainable packaging. My Suite Store has a variety of natural and recyclable products to choose from such as Amika, Biolage, Clean Beauty by Paul Mitchell, Lanza, NaturaverdePro, No Nothing/ 4 Reasons, and Tea Tree by Paul Mitchell.
  2. Recycle and compost: MY SALON Suite has joined forces with Green Circle Salons to help our Members reduce their environmental impact. Beauty waste, such as hair clippings, foils, and color tubes, can be recycled and kept out of landfills and oceans. As a Suite Elite Member, you can even save 25% on the Green Circle Welcome Kit, which includes specialized bins and free shipping labels. It’s so easy to take the first step toward sustainability by signing up here!
  3. Reduce water usage: Encourage clients to book appointments with dry hair to reduce water usage. Use your water sparingly by shampooing for shorter times.
  4. Opt for energy-efficient equipment: Our suites are already built with energy efficiency in mind. We provide energy-efficient lighting with power that goes off automatically when the suite is not in use. However, you can do more! Swap out old hair dryers for newer, energy-efficient models, and don’t forget to turn off equipment when not in use. These small changes can add up to big environmental savings.

By following these steps, your salon can become an eco-friendly haven that makes a positive difference for our planet. Let’s work together to make Earth Day every day!
