MY SALON Suite takes immense pride in the Suite Relief Fund, established in 2017. We believe our community extends beyond the physical walls of our suites, and we are committed to making the world a brighter place with the help of our Suite Elite Members. This initiative has managed to raise over $200K to support national foundations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and to provide funds and grants to salon suite owners who need assistance due to disruptions caused by natural disasters. The relief fund aims to provide emergency cash for short-term immediate needs including clothing, food, bills, supplies & tool replacement.
This September, in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, MY SALON Suite and all its locations are pledging to fundraise for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Here are five fundraising ideas for our Suite Elite Members to incorporate into their salon suites:
- Donation Jars: Place a donation jar in a visible location within your suite. Clients can contribute during their visit.
- Charity Raffles: Hold a raffle with exciting prizes like free services or products. All proceeds go to the charity.
- Percentage of Profits: Dedicate a certain percentage of your profits for a specific time period to the cause.
- Service Specials: Offer limited-time services where all or part of the costs go to the fundraising efforts.
- Themed Events: Organize a special event like a “cut-a-thon” or a beauty seminar, with all proceeds going to St. Jude’s.
By participating in the fundraising efforts, our Suite Elite Members can not only contribute to a worthy cause but also strengthen their rapport with their clients, showing that their business is about more than just beauty – it’s about community, compassion, and making a positive impact in the world. Together, we can reach our fundraising goal and make a significant difference in the lives of the children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
