I am Julie Ann Olsen — founder, independent luxury hairstylist, and intentional artist behind the chair in Indianapolis.

For over 17 years, I have worked in creative design and individualized service. But stepping fully into the beauty industry was a decision rooted in something deeper: belief. Belief that it is never too late to build something extraordinary. Belief that reinvention is powerful. Belief that every person deserves to feel aligned with the image they see in the mirror.

My 21-year-old daughter is a hairstylist.

She didn’t follow in my footsteps — she gave me the courage to create my own.

Watching her pursue her dream awakened something in me. It reminded me that passion does not expire. That legacy can move both directions. That sometimes the greatest inspiration comes from the very people you raised.

I am also a proud mother to my 15-year-old daughter, a dedicated cheer mom traveling to national-tier competitions, and a dog mom to English Bulldogs and a spirited Siberian Husky. My life is full — intentionally so.

Since 2020, I’ve called downtown Indianapolis home. I find inspiration walking city streets, admiring monuments, supporting local businesses, and immersing myself in live music whenever I can. Energy fuels artistry. Community fuels purpose.

And intention fuels everything I create.

Guests often describe me as an intentional stylist — someone who truly listens. That is the greatest compliment I could receive. Because hair is not just color. It is not just texture. It is not just a cut. It is identity, expression, confidence, and growth. It is how you move through the world. It is how you feel when you catch your reflection unexpectedly. It is deeply personal — and it deserves thoughtful care.

Luxury, to me, is not excess.

It is detail.

It is intention.

It is creating results that grow out beautifully and support your lifestyle — not compete with it.
