This has been the best experience ever for me. Being new to the curly journey, I’ve grown quite frustrated with my hair and almost gave up after not being able to take care of it properly. Enter Jennah, a curly hair guru and wonderful soul who helped my understand my hair and how to best take care of it. Jennah was awesome! She was patient and kind and fun to talk to, and she answered the bazillion questions I had and walked me through the process of taking care of my hair step by step and even simplified the journey for me. By the end of our time, I was so happy that I had to book my next appointment with her ASAP!

Jennah is incredible – she has been cutting my hair for a year now, and I wanted to add some dimension to my red curls. As usual, I have trouble articulating myself about my hair desires, but Jennah translates like a pro. A week later, I have styled my hair myself and the cut is exceptional – the curls move beautifully with minimal effort and product and the pintura highlights and low lights accentuate my natural reds without looking fake. Let me tell you.. if you’re looking to have your curls cut, tamed or just maintained, Jennah is THE ONE!

I recently moved to Boston and as a mother I was desperate to find a stylist specializing in curls and who could manage my daughters tight coils and after a year I finally met Jennah.

I’m not gonna lie, coming from New York, I had been in search of a black stylist but from the moment we met, Jennah’s energy put me at ease. She delivered everything and more.

Carefully explaining every product and technique to properly cleanse, hydrate and style, Jennah turned our appointment into a tutorial. She quickly sensed my daughter felt discouraged by her full head of kinky curls and rather than agreeing to cut it, she gave her the encouragement and skills for daily maintenance and tricks to keep it hydrated. From her wash to cut and style, it was three hours of embracing every curl on my daughter’s head and individually defining each curl, allowing them to bounce and swing. I promise you, Jennah has gifted hands cause I have never seen my daughters hair so perfectly styled. And let me tell you she did this while balancing three other clients, a latino, white and mixed; all requiring different techniques. It was more of an experience than an appointment and my daughter’s happiness was priceless.

I’ve been to many different Rezo/Deva certified stylists and by far Jennah is the best! I started my blonde transition with her from box died black hair. Even after the first process I saw an amazing transition. She prioritized my curl pattern staying healthy while making me happy with the color at the same time. I refuse to get my hair cut/colored by anyone else! I’ll even come home to Boston from school just for an appointment with her.

I was lucky enough to randomly get Jennah as my curl specialist at her previous salon and I can’t imagine ever seeing anyone else. She takes the time to teach you everything you need to know about textured hair – how to wash it (or not wash it), how to style it, how to refresh it – and she makes sure to explain why things work the way they do. My hair has changed drastically since Jennah worked her magic, which has allowed me to feel more like myself and also feel more confident in my abilities to actually style and enjoy my curls!
